This place is soooo cozy and feels just like home. Their food is always delicious. I had veggie beyaynetu, and you could tell it was made fresh and was absolutely delicious. They have incredibly sweet and welcoming hosts, esp Maraki. She really makes you feel cared for. On two different occasions, they treated me to Buna on the house which was prepared in a traditional way, with frankincense and all 🤭 I just love it so much! I wish I lived in the DMV area so I could come here all the time.

Love this place! This is an authentic neighborhood gem with amazing food and staff. The owner is beautiful inside and out and is an amazing cook and host. We felt like we wwre guests in her home. She was grateful that we were there, and we were glad we stopped by. From the samosas to the main dishes and soup, we tried it all. The menu is small but has choices for everyone--vegetarian, fish, chicken and beef. There is also a full bar complete with homemade honey wine! We will be back!

A fantastic Ethiopian restaurant with the kindest people. We had the 50/50 lamb and veggie platter, samosas, and lentil soup, everything was so delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful ❤️ they gave us honey wine after our meal too! Can’t recommend enough!!!!

Absolutely delicious! Everything we had tasted home made and authentic. Everyone there was so kind, warm, and welcoming. I would highly recommend the lamb! Also the sambusas and Ethiopian coffee. It was all so delicious.

I stopped in with a friend based on reviews I read on Yelp. If you don’t know where to look, you might miss the place, but what a great find. A quiet little spot with amazing food, a fun friendly welcoming vibe, and a staff that made us feel like family. If you ever want a chill, happy spot for great Ethiopian food, please make the trip.
