Im not typically a breakfast person but I love a good biscuit. I've stopped twice now, the first time I fell in love with the fried chicken. Freshly fried in a wonderful rosemary batter. The second time I truly fell in love with the biscuits which were toasted and buttered before being topped with well seasoned gravy. I also got the fried biscuit doughnuts coated in a good amount of cinnamon. Highly recommend, and will be a consistent customer.
Stumbled upon this gem of a breakfast spot as I was leaving the Sou’wester… such a great discovery!! The gravy on the side or smothered is a must for your savory biscuit. The sauted greens were delicious but on the salty side. Customer service was great, food came out quickly, and the place is clean and cute. Will definitely be back and would recommend if you’re in the area!
I think I’d crawl over broken glass for their fried chicken. Tender and crispy. Came in for breakfast and got two of their combo plates which have biscuits and gravy, eggs, and your choice of protein and a side for like $12. Biscuits have a nice exterior and fluffy interior. This isn’t the crumbly rock you often find out there. The gravy was savory and well seasoned. They have some work to do on the eggs. They were a bit watery. Sometimes a little water is added to eggs to make them fluffy. But this was not great. It was the low point of the meal. No, I take that back. They offer greens as a side. I’m used to quick sautéed greens with garlic or all day greens southern style. These were cooked super long with a bunch of thyme. Not my jam. But here’s the deal—the fruit cup which was the othe
First time here, got food to go. OMG, got home and ate the "In Hog Heaven" I kept trying to scrape more off the to go container till I realized I was scrapping the cardboard, I stopped when I realized that I don't need that much fiber, lolol. My wife got the Biscuit BLT, a whole lot of bacon tomato and lettuce, more than any restaurant in town, she ate the whole thing. Noelle, and Juan are awesome. Definitely will be eating there again. Thank you,
Fantastic spot for brunch. Food was ready in under ten minutes and it was so good 😋 Fried Chicken was crispy, the sauteed greens (rosemary flavor!) were tasty!
