Seascape Manor Bed & Breakfast

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!||The pics on line have to be over 10 years old. This place is a dump! Upon arrival we smelled cat pee outside the detached garage. Upon entry we were bombarded with the smell of cat pee. An elderly man with no customer skills took us on a tour through a room that was filled with junk, through a doorway to the “breakfast” area where we stepped over a feral cat and its litter box. The breakfast area was not very clean. He then proceeded to take us outdoors and down to a lower level to our room which is the Garden room. We entered through a warped set of French doors that were not very sturdy or secure into a time warp back to the 1970’s complete with wood paneling, a home bar, an outdated piano as well as 1970s lamps and decor. Don’t. We didn’t stay. The smell was awful. The owner did say she had cats but this was beyond having cats. Plus no one came to great us. We waited but decided we wouldn’t stay there anyway. It was dirty inside and very cluttered.

Garden room was spacious and clean. Quiet location with a decent view of the beach. The homemade breakfast was a highlight, and food is made fresh. They also give you complimentary beach passes during your stay.

beautiful location, charming space. Garden room was spacious, homey, and clean. Overall stay was quiet and peaceful, the house feels nestled in the forest + from our room & the breakfast deck, we had a view of the ocean through the trees! + Breakfast was delicious! We loved our short stay and want to return (and so does our two year old).

I don't like to write bad reviews, but I HAD to write something regarding this B&B. The home is older (actually historic) and hasn't been maintained on the outside. It must have been very pretty at one time. The inside is neat in the public areas. The elderly wife of the couple that runs it is sweet and her husband is pleasant (sort of). We were told beforehand that they have a cat, and I don't have a problem with that, I've had cats... BUT... they have feral cats (several of them) that are allowed to run in and out of the house and when you walk into the house, the inside of the house reeks of cat pee (that strong ammonia smell). Our room upstairs was very clean, the bed very soft, chocolates on the nightstand, bedroom furniture very pretty (1940's style) and the bathroom scrubbed wit
