The food was really bland, the only thing that was seasoned and tasted pretty good was the Salt&Pepper shrimp. The Pankos fish was very greasy, not fried hard enough for me.The Oysters were Bland no season at all, also cooked a little to soft for my liking. The cornmeal fried fish didn't have any flavor also not fried hard. If I were to ever go there again I would only get the Salt & Pepper Shrimp....
This is a hidden gem in Fresno providing fresh seafood cooked in various ways. I was curious about the tempura fish based other Yelpers. I was glad to have it as wasn’t doughy tempura, it was like breaded or crusted crispy fish. It wasn’t oily or anything. My mother opted for the cornmeal style of fish. I love cornmeal but figured we would swap. The cornmeal was great too! I would probably ask for it to be fried a little harder, but that’s MY preference. Both baskets were beautifully prepared. The young man who helped me was very polite. We held a great conversation which made me feel even more comfortable about frequenting their establishment. They do not have places to eat. It’s a place to call in or walk in and order their food. They also sell items like fish fry mix and other seafood
First time here. Food was fresh. The crispiest battered seafood I’ve probably had in Fresno. Got the seafood combo and calamari. Everything was great!
Delicious I got the clam chowder and omg!
Very dirty place. Starting at the front door, the glass was filthy, inside the floor was dirty in the lobby. Behind the counter, the floor was worse, dirty and with small pieces of trash, It obviously hadn’t been cleaned in sometime. The lady at the front counter was friendly and took my order. I tried the fish and chips which she suggested. The fish was OK and the pieces were large. They came with coleslaw which was not good and I did not eat it. The tartar sauce was mostly mayo. And the fries were something that you would buy at a grocery store frozen and fry up at home, with no special seasoning or anything special about them. I have no idea why this place gets so many good reviews but I noticed several of the reviewer‘s mention that they take EBT and food stamps maybe that’s why. I
