I visited Seafood Haven on a Saturday evening, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was personally greeted by the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind. He made me feel like family right away, which really set the tone for the rest of the visit. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and his business. I ordered the four-piece fish and shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese and collard greens, and every part of the meal was on point. The fish and shrimp were perfectly cooked—crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The seasoning was just right, not too salty. Great portion sizes. Just let me start by saying absolutely amazing experience here at Seafood Haven. Customer service is top notch the staff were so friendly and treated us like they knew us for decades. Other establishments can learn a lot from this place. Now onto the food, amazing amazing amazing is all I can say. I got the catfish dinner platter with Mac n cheese and collard greens. if you don't know if you like collard greens get them from here you will love them but never want anyone else's. The wife got the whiting dinner platter with fries and Mac n cheese. She loved it. The platter size is huge you won't be hungry after. Had a weekend trip in the Poconos this weekend, and we’ve been meaning to go to this spot ever since looking up places beforehand—it was totally worth it! We got the catfish & fries platter, collard greens, and cornbread. Everything was so delicious and melted in your mouth; not only was the food great but also the service!! Daryl and everyone in there was so extremely kind and I could immediately tell the food was gonna be great (it’s made with love for real)!! DEFINITELY coming back for that banana pudding (and to try the whiting) 🙏

Seafood Haven is a gem! Darryl was so welcoming and hilariously funny! The community is blessed to have him and his family’s restaurant. The whiting dinner… chefs kiss. Yams, Mac, candied yams everything chefs kiss x2. We loved this being the first stop of our weekend.

Loved everything here! Especially the fried catfish and shrimp 😋 The owner was so sweet, he even let us try the fried whiting before we ordered (which was also very tasty). Definitely recommend!
