We enjoyed Seafood America’s crab cakes sold under their ‘Dockside Classics’ label. They were tasty and we liked the consistency of the cake. They suggest either baking the product or air-frying it, we chose to saute them in EVOO for a nice crust. Next time we’ll bake ‘em as they didn’t hold up well when flipped over. Wife plated hers w a pool of salsa and a dollop of sour cream, I filled a ramekin w home-made tartar sauce. The price was right at Shaw’s $5.99, at Market Basket $7.49. Usually, it’s the other way around. Will def buy them again.

Mini crab bites. Just Nasty. No crab taste but occasional shell fragments that elude to essence of crab? Mostly filler. Definitely shouldn't be selling these here in Virginia/Maryland where we live next to the Chesapeake Bay and the best blue crabs and crab cakes available in the USA.

Saw these delicious looking lobster cakes in the packaged case in meat department at Kroger. They cooked up real nice, but then there was basically no taste at all, no lobster or fish chunks, bland as the day is long. How in the heck do you produce and taste test a crap product like this and actually sell it? Will never buy any dockside product again. Go back to the drawing board!

We bought these “gourmet lobster cakes” only because the lobster tails were sold out. They were for our Valentine’s Day dinner. Complete waste of money. We threw them out after only one bite. Tasteless and with mostly filler. We will never buy Dockside Classics products again. Would give zero stars if I could.

These negative reviews are totally unfair. I manage a seafood dept. and know for a fact that they make crab cakes from Value to High-end Restaurant Quality. When buying a 4 pack of crab cakes for $5 ($1.25 each) and they are filled with shredded lump crab meat, you realize what an incredible value these cakes are. On weekends or on promo I have to re-stock the case multiple times If your tastes run high-end, we carry their 4 oz. Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, which retail for $8.99 and off which run $7.99 promos. Believe me they are worth it! These cakes cost less than a $20 restaurant cake and are just as good if not better!!! Buy to your taste level and appreciate that they are made in America!!!! Most cakes are made overseas and shipped frozen, these are fresh never frozen.
