Scuttlebutt Restaurant & Marina

My fiance and I were looking for a seafood restaurant that was opened off season. I gave them a call and a cheerful voice said we are always open! We arrived to find a small bright yellow building and I had misgivings about what the food would be like. That was quickly dispelled when our order arrived to our table. The dogwood sandwich was the tallest that I've ever seen and oh my...the crab cake was the size of a softball. It was all crab meat, lightly seasoned with no filler. We could not eat it all and left with definite plans to return again. Give this place a try..you will not be disappointed.

It’s been a long time since I visited Cobb Island and I decided to go to this restaurant. The Crab Cake Sandwich was amazing! It was huge and also ordered the soft shell crab and steak and cheese sandwiches. The food is amazing and atmosphere is quite relaxed with music. I definitely be coming back again!

Omg! What a gem! You will enter for a meal and not want to leave for days, between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and (oh!) the softball-sized, no filler crab cake they are known for. The Goldrush chicken breast-ham-bacon sandwich is to die for, too. Fries are hot and fresh, coleslaw crisp, and onion rings are slivered rings of heaven. Enjoy!

This place is great! Had truly the best crab cake sandwich I could have imagined. French fries out of this world. The service was quick, the atmosphere lively and friendly. Like going over to your older sister's house for a meal served with heart amongst family.

This is an awesome little place! We only discovered it because the Ledos pizza was closed. The place is great, awesome food and the service was friendly and top-notch. And they weren't kidding when they named the club 'you won't leave hungry scuttlebutt club'. We will be back and be hungry for more. Update: third time going, and the food and service is still awesome. Great little placez and the outside dining was really nice.
