New day! Fresh up remodel happening within a couple weeks by new ownership. Great to see This camdenton institution continue New menu with more To follow. The boasted chicken stays !!!!!!!! It is the best we have ever eatin. Just small and good

Went to Scuttlebutt for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Loved the food and Captain Dan's service was great. Prices were very reasonable. Went back there tonight in the driving rain only to find their "new menu" All prices are increased from 33% to some items up 100%. Portions were smaller too. Wife ordered the catfish... great flavor, but very small portion. Broasted chicken tasted amazing, but looked more like a Cornish hen. Ordered the 4 piece with 2 regular sides and paid the same price as the 6 piece with 2 double sides the 2 of us shared last time. I heard the new owner was trying to get the former "regulars" back, but We probably won't be back. Sad as we thought we had found a new regular shot to go.

I really enjoyed my meal at scuttlebutt! My partner and I were exploring from out of town and we felt so comfortable and welcomed. We ordered these yummy steak fries as well as chicken tenders and onion rings. They also gave me a free pork tenderloin piece as they didn’t have any big ones left for sandwiches and they wanted me to try it. It was well seasoned and delicious. All good bar food / munchies and nicely paired with a beer. It’s definitely a local spot but they welcome everyone and it definitely satisfied my appetite for bar food.

Loved Scuttlebutt before the owner change, but love it even more now, I really like the fact that smoking is no longer allowed inside and that they serve a full menu all night. It can be hard to find places besides fast food that serve dinner after 7 in Camdenton.The fried chicken is absolutely excellent, had a 2 piece and was served 2 huge pieces of chicken that were perfectly cooked for a very fair price. I do not generally like cole slaw, but I love theirs, it's so good. Potato wedges are perfectly seasoned and cooked. Excellent, fast and friendly service as well. We will be back!

Holy moly, get the pork tenderloin. Best I've ever had. The condiments and toppings were perfect and contributed to an amazing overall experience. Pickle fries were not your ordinary out-of-the-bag experience, and totally worth it. Service was top-notch, friendly, and inviting. Will definitely try more of the menu! It's 2025 and I'm still recommending this place!
