Scotty's Country Kitchen

I just bought a few cinnamon buns that were freshly made and omg, I knew I had a good feeling about them. They were delicious, and now my new favorite out there! Hints of vanilla, great cinnamon flavor, delicious frosting but none of it too sweet. I was told they don’t overly sweeten their desserts which I love, as I prefer not overly sweet desserts…and it was to perfection! Loved it and definitely shared with the kids, hubby and a few relatives 😂. I bought them at the weekly farmer’s market in Goshen (Government Center building parking lot, Fridays until 5pm) and just looked them up for the main location. Nice to know they are more local to me!!! We all loved it!

I bought a half of a large cherry crumble top pie at the Beacon Farmer's Market and it was awful; The outside crust was literally like cement, hard as a rock and the rest of the pie had little flavor. But the hard crust was just awful. The whole thing went into the trash. And I was stupid for not asking the price because that was ridiculous...$15.

Everything at Scotty’s Country Kitchen tastes fresh and homemade. I got an apple crumb pie and cinnamon rolls. I am from DC, and it is a must-stop bakery in Orange County, NY!

Got a peach blue berry half pie. I couldn't resist. There were limited flavors for the half pies. Couldn't commit to a full one. Took it it go and I was salivating in the car. But only later did I take a very tiny piece with my hands cuz I couldn't find a disposable utensil in the car. Anyway it was so good but it was close to bedtime I thought I'd save some for the next day. But my family betrayed me and ate some without me. All good cuz I'm eating some now. But I can't eat anymore because I promised to leave some for someone.

I just tried Scotty’s Chocolate Chip Cookies……I’m still recovering from the high salt content. Avoid if you have issues with blood pressure. I could not believe I spent $10 on this bag and couldn’t enjoy them..straight to the trash. :-(
