This is an excellent European bakery. I highly recommend it. Everything I purchased has been excellent. I bought Christmas cookie boxes last week for friends. Today I came back to buy cookies for my family. Their Christmas cookies are gorgeous, huge and delicious. I really love the fact they are not really sweet. You can tell the products here are made with high quality ingredients and care to produce a high quality product. Their regular cookies and scones are excellent too. You cannot get baked goods like this at your regular bakery or grocery store. Stop by their little shop in lovely downtown Lafayette Indiana. It's a hidden gem. If you are searching for the heart and soul of our towns baking scene, look no further than this gem of a bakery. Every visit is a treat, but it’s the honey fig pecan scone that truly has my heart. Each bite is a perfect harmony of flavors—delicately sweet honey, luscious figs, and crunchy pecans, all wrapped in a tender, buttery scone. It is fresh every time and simply unforgettable. Whenever i am planning a party, i always order a mix of their baked goods. Their selection is diverse, artfully crafted, and never fails to impress my guests. Wow! Amazing choice of scones...as you walk in you can smell the baked goods....drool. the pictures speak a thousand words, the girl who helped us was polite and friendly and plenty of choices. A+ I'll be back when in town next.

Scones and Doilies is truly a gem of downtown Lafayette. The quality of the pastries, the cookies, and the scones is only matched by the service that Sergei and Natasha provide to their customers. The atmosphere of their store is accented by beautiful plants and decorations. The chocolate-covered pistachio pastry is simply out of this world, and the blueberry scones are my second favorite, definitely the best one I’ve ever had. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
