Sciarrino's Pizzeria

Overall we were extremely disappointed. There was barely any cheese on any of the regular cheesesteaks. The Buffalo chicken cheesesteak was supposed to come with bleu cheese dressing but there was such a small amount that it was barely visible and not able to be tasted (pictured). The poppers were burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. The cheese fries only had cheese on the top few fries and then the rest were bare. Nothing tasted particularly good, just fine.

The lady answering the phone seemed less than excited to take my order. Why does no one upsell??? Smile lady… Place needs a good cleaning. Salt & pepper shakers, napkin holder, trash can, vents all gross. Portion for price was good. Everything was hot, fresh. Mozzarella sticks are from a bag but had a good flavor. Marinara was ok. Cheeseburger Sub was well portioned. lettuce, onions, cheese, mayo & bread all were good. The burger had zero flavor (hit it with the salt, pepper & oregano).

Pizza is never consistent. One day it is great, made with plenty of cheese and a nice soft crust. The next day there’s hardly any cheese, the crust is hard and not easy to bite and the sauce is dry. Is is almost as if the pizza was made 3 hours prior, sat for a while and reheated.

Sciarrino’s has been our favorite pizza place for over a year now. They’ve always been consistent. I’m not sure what’s happened over the past 3 months but we keep trying and just can’t recommend it anymore. The top looks undercooked, the bottom has black char stuck to it, cheese is sloppy and runs all over the place, and the amount of grease is gross. Really wish whatever they’re doing differently would go back to how it was.

Word or advice, pick it up!!!!! Delivery on a Friday night , was told an hour. Still waiting after an hour and 30 minutes. Was told 30 minutes ago it was on its way. I live 10 minutes away. Food is COLD!!! It’s a shame because the food is good, the owner could care less about complaints. I’ve been in the store when he’s complaining about ppl showing up early for pick ups. Someone should remind him he has a business because of his customers!
