Schwan's Ice Cream Plant

First off...you check in at the guard shack on Ontario Rd. They will take you early and there is overnight parking on Ontario Rd. After you check in...they will send you directly across the street to the docks to get loaded. Tandems back...high vis vest! Clean restroom onsite. After you are loaded, drive back across the street to the guard shack. They have a nice; accurate 3 axle scale and will give you a scale ticket and bols. Plenty of room to maneuver and back into docks..staff super friendly and professional...free ice cream!

They and their yard guy has some very strange rules here especially when I was parked on the Ontario st. They said I couldn't leave the doors open overnight. He said mice would get into the trailer. Now if I was a smart mouse and I knew ice cream was going to be in a trailer I would say yes that makes since right up to the time he dies of hypothermia. Since the trailer had been washed earlier and I didn't want it to smell moldy since my appointment wasn't until tomorrow afternoon around 1400 or 2pm I decided to go park somewhere else where things made since... a side street a block over! They didn't offer me ice cream but had to refuse due to the fact I am already pre- diabetic... But the thought that counts!

Kirk was awesome. Check in was smooth and they even have a scale onsite.

I placed an order on October 31st and it said it would be here by November 5th today is November the 11th and it has not arrived you scam people when you start closing down
