Schuylkill Haven Free Public Library

I'm not sure why this library has such bad reviews. It's small but this is a pretty small town. The librarians are always super friendly and very helpful. My kids love going to visit! We go every other week to pick up books, play in the kids section and take home the prepackaged craft kits the librarians put together.

They people who work there are beyond amazing. Helpful in everyday. Just today they gave me and my wife Eclipse Glasses to where on this coming April 8th. Would recommend anyone and everyone to partake! 👍👍

This was the first place we visited when my husband and I moved from North Carolina to Schuylkill Haven. It’s very small, but has a good selection of books. If they don’t have the book you’re looking for, they will order it from another library. Getting a card here gives you access to many other local libraries. The women that work there are super helpful. They didn’t only help us with books, they also gave us excellent suggestions for local shops.

A great small town library! Would absolutely recommend!

This library is dirty from top to bottom, including the one librarian's desk that's visibly covered in trash and the mess you can see in the stairwell in from the streets. The book upstairs are dated and they told me that they don't buy movies that are R rated. I was also really disappointed that there are no programs for adults like the library in Orwigsburg offers. I hate coming here when the librarian with the messy desk is there because she's rude to me, kids and the people that work there. I don't recommend coming here until that lady leaves.
