Customer Reviews
The Schreiner Memorial Library is great! I just had the pleasure of working with Martha Bauer. She helped me to immediately retrieve important reference information. She was kind, pleasant, intelligent, vested and highly efficient. Thank you so much, Martha!
I cut my visit short because of the noise. The staff was in the office watching the news on a PC. I spoke with the clerk at the desk and told her that this was the noisiest library that I had ever visited. I have been going to libraries for fifty-five years. She laughed and thanked me. I will not be back. No smiles.
Staff are rude, library is small and variety of books are limited. I would rather drive out of town to go to a better library.
Excellent building design with Prairie style furnishings and a lot of natural lighting. Competent, friendly staff that often goes above and beyond for their customers. Resources are plentiful. And of course, books, books, books and periodicals.
I loved the library until today. They have a neat play group for toddlers my daughter loves going to. A few times ago, I returned a book she damaged. I told them about it and said I would pay for it since she damaged it. Today Kerin scolded me for returning 3 books my daughter damaged, when in reality, it was one. Kerin asked me earlier in the summer to point out if there were any torn pages because they have a "special tape" meant for fixing books. She shot me daggers leaving today. I brought to their attention two prior books that were already torn and poorly taped by someone else. Thank you, for making me feel like an incompetent mom. I don't want to take my only child to her only socialization with other toddlers and I don't feel welcome to make use of the library and I definately don'
