We enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience for lunch. Very authentic cuisine and the servers dressed the part! Very charming, friendly, cozy place to chat or just enjoy good German food and especially dessert! Yummy desserts! About 10 scrumptious options. Highly recommend.

After enjoying the delicious food in Germany on a recent vacation, our family was craving it. Someone told us about “Stubes”so we drove over for lunch. The Lederhosen-clad servers are attentive and the atmosphere is simple but charming. They brought us a basket of German rye bread and whipped butter, then our appetizer and meals quickly appeared. We ordered the Wurst platter for a shareable appetizer, served with three delicious types of mustard and a variety of wursts/sausages. My husband enjoyed a bowl of their creamy potato soup, which was unique but delicious, with finely chopped vegetables. I’ve been to Bavaria during Oktoberfest, and this restaurant’s food was not only 1) authentic but 2)even better than the food we had there! Not to mention the atmosphere truly transports you to Munich! You MUST call ahead to order the pork shank (24 hours notice) Every part of the meal was a flavor experience, from the house baked rolls and homemade seasoned whipped butter, to the melt apart in your mouth pork shank, and slightly sweet and warm apple strudel. Portions were generous and very reasonably priced. We will 100% be back, that’s for sure!

Steven was one of the best waiters we have had the pleasure of encountering in a very long time. His attention to detail, presence, warm invitation, and delivery of our orders was impeccable. If you want a taste of Bavaria outside of Germany this is the place to be. Steven is such an asset to this place! Danke! Cheers 🍻

Been trying to come here for some time from Northern VA but the drive stopped many attempts. Finally made it because there is NO German food in NOVA. This place hit! The schnitzel was delicious and portion was just right, fiancée loved her stuffed cabbage. We will be back! Great decor and service as well.
