Schermerhorn's Seafood-TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS

We had the crab cakes, clam strips and lazy lobster. The crab cakes were delicious. The clam strips were not for me or my daughter too chewy. The lazy lobster was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The lady taking our order was rude to one of our relatives. She was just trying to get them out of the way instead of having patience to complete the order. The lady that brought out our food was great. I would revisit this place again when we revisit Massachusetts.

You come here for the great food. Schermahorns is an institution, and like any good seafood shack on the coast you can get a great meat - and not just fried food. Great food, good portions and good prices. We had the twin lobsters, Cajun shrimp wrap, stuffed haddock, kids hot dog and kids cheese pizza. Every single one was a hit with who ordered it, and it was just right. When you enter the restaurant you just order with the cashier at the front, pay and take a number to your table. A short time later someone will bring your food. As a hidden bonus, there is a old Pac Man game in the back. Bring 2 quarters for a play

Great food with good portion sizes, good service, atmosphere was very ocean/harbor oriented. The place could have used a little TLC, but overall very happy with stopping here! I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

I had a clam chowder and a lobster roll, the spouse had whole belly clams. The food was delicious. I would eat here again.

Just no. I felt like I was on an episode of kitchen nightmares... kept waiting for Gordon to come out, STG, and he never came to my rescue. Someone should have told us all to stop eating! I would not recommend this place if it was the last place to eat. Let's start with the fact that they have a twin lobster deal...... but lists next to it "no sharing". Huge tacky turnoff. For 1, who are you to tell me what I can do with my food that I am buying and paying for?! and for 2, I can see this being an issue.. we travel alot ourselves and probably at least a little under half the time, get a meal to share bc we have no medium- either we're starving or just need a little something to get by. Their menu lists "Maine lobster". No. It's definitely not. We ask for clams, she said steamers? , no, c
