Schawarmin' Up

Great shawarma just right outside Bay City (across the road from Van Vleck high school). It’s got great flavor and it came out quickly, I do wish there was a tad more meat on each plate! Seasoned fries were a fun addition and the hummus was fantastic. What a needed place for Matagorda county! Would go there again for sure.

The Service is outstanding. They take the time to explain what they have. Food is really good. I'm so glad for a different type of restaurant in the area. I'm not sure they could have nailed a better combination. Try it out. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious food! So glad it's something other than tacos or Mexican food. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbin some good grub!

I have had the pleasure of following Schawarmin' Up and its proprietors from the beginning -- from a pop up food stand to the present. They serve fantastic Middle-Eastern/Greek food. Every time I have ordered (many times), the service has been prompt and friendly, and the food has been great! I'm pleased to see them open a physical location, and I look forward to visiting them!
