Jeanette was a great host. She and her husband were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We only spent one night, but would not hesitate to come back again in the future. The room was clean, the dog was friendly, and the breakfast was very good.

Called and made and confirmed a reservation over the phone. In town for a family funeral. In the event of another nite needed, owner agreed to a 24 hour hold on an additional night. Following morning, reneged , advised they sold the room we agreed she would hold in reserve. I chose not to associate or break bread with oath breakers. A call would have been nice.

We had our 2nd stay, and it was as enjoyable as the first. Nice accommodations and great hosts. During this visit our grandkids had the opportunity to interact with their grandchildren with their 4H 🐖. The location is very close to our family in Johnstown. Fantastic breakfast and conversation.

Jeanette is a very warm and friendly host and I highly recommend staying here. I'm usually out too early for the included breakfast, but she still makes coffee and has given me a couple of different items to take, including coffee cake, a cinnamon roll, and an apple.

This bed-and-breakfast is on a working farm, so you look out and see big red barns and broad green fields of corn and soybeans. If you take a little walk, you can see cows, pigs, chickens, goats, and the graveyard at the top of the hill where Joseph Schantz (a.k.a. Johns), the founder of Johnstown, lies buried. Our room was tastefully decorated with a sunflower motif on the wallpaper, wall tiles, and even the Kleenex box. If the wood furniture was not antique, it was at least handsomely old--and it worked. The room did, fortunately, have one very new-fangled appliance, an air conditioner. What I'll remember most vividly, however, was the breakfast. Jeanette (the primary hostess, though she had help from others in her family) served scrumptious sausage and bacon (made from pigs rai
