Scarlet Mango Inn

Best place we've stayed in Key West. A very very short walk from Duval but far enough away you don't get all the noise.(The road outside can get quite noisy.) Amazingly clean, beautiful, super comfortable room and bed. The owners/staff made us feel so welcomed. LOVED the pool, you're in a tropical oasis and because there's only a few rooms in this place, we had the pool whenever we wanted it all to ourselves. Seriously, just stay here, it's awesome. My only critique is there's no freezer, we had a fridge in our room but if you need to freeze medicine or keep ice packs.. no such luck. 5 stars all the way.

Rooms are very nice. We stayed in the Julie which is on the first floor. I would not recommend any first floor rooms at this place. Ample AC to keep you cool if needed. Has Dehumidifier in room. You will have to empty every 3-4 hours or it will not work. Room has somewhat of a smell if you dont run it. Ours was not emptied by staff when we arrived. Our room had a remote to turn the TV on and select channels but that remote clearly had no volume option so we had no sound. Cleaning staff were no help. Pool was warm and very nice to wade in. We walked 9 miles the first day so we ended our day at 930. Occupants in the room above us were horribly loud. Like our ceiling was falling in loud. At 1030 we attempted to contact mgt. We attempted twice that night and once in the morning

We recently stayed in the Scarlet suite at Scarlet Mango, and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The check-in was super easy, the staff was friendly and professional, and the suite was spectacular! Little touches like an ice machine in the lobby, extra pool towels and umbrellas in our room, and snacks and sparkling wine on arrival made our stay feel like we were at a 5 star resort. The inn's location just block off Duval was far enough from the bustle and crowd noise but close enough to make walking anywhere a breeze. I can't recommend this inn enough and plan on staying there again on our next trip to Key West. Thank you, Dwell team... you knocked it out of the park!

Brought our bikes, but the location is only short walks to our favorite locations. Rooms are clean and cozy. Would stay here again. Food atSarabeth's across the street is awesome.

Nonstop street noise. The inn is at an intersection with a stoplight, so there is nearly never ending scooter and car noise. Busy fire station right down the block so multiple sirens throughout the evening. Obviously, the inn cannot control this but it makes sleeping extremely disruptive. The inn itself is comfortable and the Scarlet Suite is roomy. Nonetheless, it is rough to get more than a couple of hours of uninterrupted rest after a day out. Bring earplugs.
