You know a place is good when you go twice in 24 hours after first trying it out!! This place is the real deal… and I didn’t think anyone could be nicer and more accommodating than Damien, until you meet his mom. Everyone bends over backward to help, offer suggestions. You begin to feel like you’ve been transported to an actual Italian cafe and you’re being welcomed like you’ve been coming for years:) Authentic little Italian spot - packing more delicious food options than you can imagine! Located at their new spot in Riverwest, easy to find. Street parking. Super clean. The first afternoon we arrived 20 minutes before closing and ordered sandwiches to go - my husband got the house original specialty Sasizza Originale (a warm panini) - which he said was amazing and packed with flavor. Very solid and reasonably priced take and bake pizza. The sandwiches take a long time but the pizza is a great local option.

First of all I have to give Scardina credit for the awesome service, astonishing cleanliness and overall comfort you get from being in this place. This is a place I truly enjoyed visiting. I had 0 problems waiting for my food. No matter what you get from here, except trustworthy and clean product. I ordered the Hot Italian Beef sandwich. It was alright. The quality of the beef was good. More than good actually. I could tell. However, I prefer a more juciy Italian beef sandwich. The sandwich was dry, the bun was not seeded and the portion was not comparable to most Italian Beef sandwiches around. Not my style but it may be yours. I gave Scardina 4 stars because, although I didn't like the Italian beef sandwich, I still think this place provides high quality food. I hope to come back aga

My favorite Sicilian/Italian food in Milwaukee Family owned and operated in Riverwest. Daily specials, take and bake specialty pizzas, and a full deli of meats cheeses and handmade delights. Absolutely a must if you live in Milwaukee or want a taste of our best. (Dine-in w/beer)

I can’t say enough good things about Scardina’s! Every visit is consistently fantastic. The food is top-notch — flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. A huge shout-out to Damien for his exceptional service — attentive, friendly, and professional every single time. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such high-quality food and outstanding service so consistently.
