Sazon Mexican Restaurant

Food was good and staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Stopped in here for lunch because we were passing through. I had the grande steak burrito and my wife had the mole enchiladas. My only small complaint is that the chips and salsa could have been better. But I’d stop back in if we’re ever back down this way.

The chips was good. At $7.99 for lunch it sounds like a deal. BUT the good stopped there. They served me my chilli relleno / enchilada/ chalupa combination I ordered COLD. I should have sent it back when I see the cheese all NOT melted- looks like they pour it straight out of a bag from the fridge. Everything on the plate was lukewarm and the meat was cold. I took two bites thinking it’s the salad and eventually I will taste the the hot food but no. It’s all cold. I sent it back and within a min the waiter came back with the food hardly warmed. I took another couple bites and realized it’s the same - cold. I also asked for hot water with lemon instead of ice water as it’s a cold day. The waiter asked me 3 times to repeat so I told him in Spanish “hot water please”. They served me lukewarm

Good food but not great food. It was worth the money. Place was very clean. Quick service. If I am back invthe area I would eat there again. A lot of food for the price.

Party of three tried to at here on 7/10/25. Son-in-law got his entree first, the flies were blowing so bad that he struggled to eat it. Daughter and I were waiting on ours and decided if the dining room was crawling with flies (on the plate, the fork, trying to get in SIL's mouth while he was eating, on the light fixture, the table, other guests having same issue) that we'd just skip our meals and eat at home. At one point we even asked the waitress for a fly swat but she either didn't understand us or pretended not to. Horrible experience, was charged full price, never coming back here that's for sure. There couldn't have been more flies if we'd have set up for a picnic by a city dumpster.

We are from out of town and stopped for dinner. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. We would definately come back. I highly recommend this restaurant.
