Sazon con fuego

As a new Meriden resident, my neighbor recommended Sazón Con Fuego Dominican Restaurant—and wow, it did not disappoint! The owner and his son were so welcoming and funny, which made the visit even better.Also, VERY CLEAN restaurant. I tried the Pernil over black rice with veggies, pork, chicken, and a fried egg—seasoned perfectly with that crispy skin on the side (if you know, you know). I also had steak with fall-off-the-bone barbecue ribs over flavorful yellow rice with olives. Everything was incredible! The yuca and Dominican raspberry soda topped it all off perfectly. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was good, I lived in the Bronx growing up with a variety of Spanish food spots and now its hard to find a good spot in CT. The staff are great, very nice. I wish they served alcohol or mixed drinks but honestly I think most people call in and pick up their food because the seating area is small. Big plus they have parking. Pernil rice and beans 10 stars.

5 stars Absolutely amazing experience! The service was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We had the chimi burger and WOW—it was out of this world! Flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Dominican flavor and great vibes!

We’re talking crispy fries stacked with that perfectly seasoned ground beef, dripping with rich, creamy pink sauce and that tangy ketchup, all balanced out with a hit of that white sauce. Every bite is straight fire salty, sweet, spicy, creamy it’s hittin’ all the right spots. And the way they serve it? Crazy.
