Sawmilly Sandwich Shoppe

A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!

Great sandwich shop in Riverside, IL. If you’re in the area you have to stop in. Great selection of sandwiches and wraps. Everything we had was delicious. They even have a great selection of ice cream as well for a sweet treat after a delicious sandwich. Will be back again!

Grabbed lunch here with a friend today. Ordered the turkey club on a French roll; my friend got the chicken & cheese panini. My sandwich was delightful. Service was quick & staff appeared nice. My friend said it is a staple of Riverside & they visit often.

I have to agree with the other reviewers, this is the place to go for great sandwiches. They have other things like salad bowls; I've only had the sandwiches. Also, they have a nice selection of scoop ice cream for the sweet tooth.

A variety of sandwiches to choose from. I tried a bacon and gorgonzola panini and the Jackson Square, which was on toasted French bread but wasn't very toasted. Both sandwiches were good. They no longer have homemade chips. Call and pre-order if you are going to be in a hurry. They also have a counter for ice cream. I would try them again.
