Sauce N Toss - Foxlake

Restaurant was empty at lunch time which usually isn’t a good sign. About as Plane Jane as it gets. Decor is all but non existent with dirty tables. Wings were cooked perfectly, sauces were average. Some of the fries were cooked well and some overdone but good cajun seasoning.My guess is they are reheating them. No ice for drinks and apparently this has been an issue for some time reading other reviews. Wouldn’t bother going back as I can get better everything from any other place that serves wings.

Pretty darn good for a random place in Illinois. As far as sauce quality is concerned this place is good. I had their spiciest sauce, dragon breath I think, and it was indeed spicy and more importantly flavorful. I could really taste the chili used to make the sauce. It was like a chili compote in texture. I also enjoyed one of their sweet mango sauces as well. Definitely unique and definitely worth it if you're in the area. Wings which were fresh and well cooked, as were the parmesan French fries.

The place is super cute and had one guy working his butt off. It was a bit of a wait but I heard good things about this place and wanted to try it out. Food looked amazing but when it came to actual taste and experience, it was super disappointing. I normally don't rate 1 stars but with it being expensive and pretty low quality- I think it might be warranted. It 45$ total for 2 people. One of the order of fries was wrong and the parm was super sweet. On the menu, it never stated that the corn was supposed to have toppings but I guess that could be on me for not making sure before I ordered it. It came elote style which I wasn't expecting and I didn't want. The tenders where swimming in grease and it made me and my bf sick after trying a few tenders.

My wife and I get wings all over the county. This place is fantastic, the wings are huge perfectly cooked and the sauces are great too, I had the Nashville rub it was fantastic and the wife had garlic parmesan she also liked it. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It has a sports theme and is very clean they also have a bar next door but I am happy that it is separate from the restaurant. If you like wings, give this place a shot you will not be disappointed!

Service exceptional. Very polite guy, gave us more detailed explanations of some sauces, portions, options we had on different menu selections. Told us how long food would take as we were ordering (and which might take a little bit longer than others). We ordered 6 piece wing meal with cheese fries and pickle chips (we’ll working our way through the menu, but starting with the basics!). Portions were very reasonable, excellent mild Buffalo wing sauce. Fresh carrots & celery. Pickle chips tasty too, extra crispy. Did I mention the ranch dressing? Delicious (guy said they make it fresh every morning). They’re still getting their beverage stuff lined up but coming soon, so no ice for beverages (but plenty cold).
