Love, love, love this place! Wish I could come more often, but vegan dim sum/yum cha is a very special occasion. As a young vegetarian->vegan, going out to eat with my mom and friends meant generally only having a handful of choices, that almost always being Buddha's delight, or gai lan, steamed veggies, with plain rice. Sassy Foods has brought me back to my childhood with delights I haven't had in years, but my omni friends and family have agreed that it still tastes great, and has the spirit of authentic dim sum in each dish. It’s great to have a big vegan menu and they were fine with substitutions and the food was good and the restaurant is big and parking was easy and the portions were large and Chinese pop music was fitting and fun, but the taste wasn’t great. It was just alright.

Most authentic vegan food outside china I have had! The only downside is the atmosphere with the aquarium from the other restaurant.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Especially the xiao long bao. Really excited to come back and try more! Service was a bit slow but the staff are really sweet.

Food was amazing! It felt very authentic and just as flavorful as non-plant based dimsum. I would say this is up there as one of the best vegan places in SF. Pretty good value for the price as well, the portion sizes for the plated dishes are very large. The staff were very friendly and service was great!
