Sarku Japan Teriyaki & Sushi Express

Didn’t have high hopes after looking at the pictures displayed on the menu but I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken teriyaki with fried rice was enjoyable while the fried sushi rolls were more chewy than crispy but still tasty for the most part. Both items came in at under $20.

3.5 stars. Ordered the teriyaki chicken which was pretty good. The dumplings were also pretty good. Service was quick and efficient. Did not order Sushi so not rated.

So, I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but three times in a row when the young guy is cooking. Black burnt crude from not properly cleaning off the cooking surface. This ruins the meal and my appetite every time.

It's ok, better experience than Woodbridge's Sarku. Overall tho, the food tastes like mall Japanese and Chinese food. Greasy and kinda bland I give them credit from 2 to 3 stars bc they give a good portion of chicken & rice Fast service and workers have good cs Edit: from 3 to 2, had stomach problems after eating :/

Very disappointing, the salmon was so old it looked like paste. It's not a good consistency for fresh salmon. They should be honest.
