Good food cheap and fast, polite staff. The chicken teriyaki is a classic and you can't go wrong with it, especially when you ask for extra sauce.

1st time I came with my kids, I noted the white rice uncooked. I notified the employee, she said ok let me tell the kitchen. I came back today and noticed the white rice still uncooked. I asked her, the same employee, to speak with the owner. She said the owner is not here only the manager. I told him and all he said is Taiwanese. The employee translated for him, he said nothing. I am Asian and I eat rice my whole life, and I eat at Sarku Japan in many locations but this location is the worse. What kind of manager that don’t speak English? And don’t know how to cook white rice properly when you are an Asian too? Lol

Avoid this place at all costs! I paid $20 for double meat and received extremely small portions that were nowhere near worth the price. With food being as expensive as it is, this kind of business practice is unacceptable. The quality of the food was mediocre at best and did nothing to justify the high cost. Save your money and find somewhere else to eat—you’ll get better value and a better experience elsewhere.

When looking to save a few bucks on a meal that isn’t deep fried come here. The grilled chicken teriyaki is amazing and the staple that you should go with at least the first time! Only reason why it is not a full perfect score is because of portion sizes. Depending on who Is doing the grill they can literally give you a spoon size of meat compared someone who will give you enough to eat for two days. If it was a constant it would be better but it is hit or miss.

By far the worst sarku I've been to and ordered from. The service is garbage. The workers constantly argue with people. Worst of all they pick and choose who they want to give sufficient chicken to. I ordered double meat on two plates and this is what they gave me. Look at the picture. Robbery
