Sankofa International Kitchen is hands down one of the best bites in South Florida. The jollof rice is exceptional — perfectly seasoned, rich, and full of flavor. The spicy goat is tender with just the right kick, and the puff puff is light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the space is clean and welcoming, and the staff is warm and attentive. They catered an event for me and delivered outstanding quality, presentation, and service. The food was a hit with every guest, and I will absolutely be using them again. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful West African cuisine — this is the place.

I traveled 2 hours to buy food from Sankofa. Its my first time trying African (Specifically Ghanaian) food, and it didn't disappoint. The place is a cloud kitchen. There is no seating or indoor restaurant. You have to order through their website or third party food delivery app. The maps took me there without knowing those facts but the employee spotted me and took my order right away. She was very kind. She explained me everything. African food is hard to come by in Florida and this place just understands it. If you're looking for the best west African food in the state of Florida, look no further. I love their jollof rice with grilled tilapia, banku and okro stew and fried plantain. Try it and thank me later. :)
