Sanja Punjab Foods Indian Restaurant

I walked in on a sunny Winter's day at 12:30 pm because I wanted to check out the Indian buffet. The restaurant was so hot I was sweating within moments. I'd dropped in about 3:30 pm a couple of weeks earlier and everything in the buffet was old and overcooked. The naan (I love good naan) was in a warmer, and it was dreadful. It had collapsed completely (about 1/8th of an inch thick) and was as floppy as uncooked pizza dough, but thinner. So I figured today I'd arrive at a time when the kitchen had time to get everything out on display. What a disappointment! The naan was the same awful naan I'd had before, in it's steel covered container where it had already sweated and turned back into a soggy mess. Fantastic food and excellent service! I was visiting from Canada, and my brothers brought me here. We tried the cholle bhature and manchurian, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided top-notch service. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys authentic Indian cuisine.

My friends and I got dinner here tonight and I am celiac and lactose intolerant and the staff was extremely friendly and cooked everything and made it gluten free and lactose free even when the original recipe wasn’t that way so I could eat it. They accommodated every allergy and were super friendly. Not only that, but the food was absolutely amazing and so so so tasty. My friends got the butter chicken and naan and loved it. I got the tandoori chicken, a salad, and the vegetable biryani and it was so so so so yummy. The staff was so awesome and friendly!!! Needed to emphasize that again!!! Definitely coming back here again!!! Thank you guys so much.

Restaurant owner - I am sincerely trying to be nice, as much as I can, and normally do not do poor reviews, but todays experience was shameful and I hope this review changes things for the positive with your restaurant.
