Sandy's Tacos

Inside is very cute and cozy. Ordered 5 tacos and an horchata. The Tripa was for sure the best, I’d come back for those. Carnitas and Asada were good but could’ve been stronger with flavor, especially the horchata, wouldn’t recommend.

I first ate at Sandy’s 16 years ago as a child with my family. And I’ve only eaten there once in adulthood,m because I moved to Reseda. I’ve seriously got to have it again!!

First taco place I ate at in the LA area and it didn’t disappoint! Guy who took my order was nice, too. So yummy!

We were in the area and my boyfriend brought me to this spot which he sometimes eats at during lunch break when he’s on a job in North Hollywood. Plenty of options and the prices were decent! I had a steak torta — had raw onions on it but it didn’t say that on the menu so important piece of info right there : ) the red salsas were really good and yes they have a clean restroom for paying customers. BORING NACHOS. I got home and opened the container that held my nachos, and seen nothing but store bought fake chips (not tortilla chips) drowned in nacho cheese sauce topped with meat and nothing else! What the heck is that?! Real mexican nachos have tomato, Jack cheese, avocado, cilantro, onions and salsa. These nachos were boring and soggy. I removed the "chips" and was left with about a scoop of meat, then added onions, cilantro and tomatoes myself.
