Sanctuary Dairy Farm Ice Cream

I absolutely love coming here to grab their tubs of ice cream from their little shak. You can bring cash and pay in there and be on your way, which makes it a favorite for me! Just be careful of the door it hits hard, and the rug can cause you to trip easily. Seeing all the animals is always fun. This place is always busy and packed, so make sure you're ok with a long wait if you want to order from the window. Only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is I wish they would add a little more of the flavors to their ice cream. Sometimes, it's hit or miss when getting a certain flavor. Like the orange pineapple, it's super flavor or mainly just tastes like vanilla. I also recommend not getting any sauces or toppings as it over takes the flavor of their ice cream way too much. A super cute place to stop and get some amazing ice cream. They had lots of traditional flavors and then some really unique ones. There are also animals that you can see while you sit and eat your ice cream. Additionally, there is a little farmstand shed type thing that has lots of yummy goodies. Get the maple mustard it’s to die for!

I was in Vermont for the weekend and came out of my way to visit this place. I had the Orange Pineapple ice cream, it was really good. The highlight however were the farm animals. If I'm completely honest, they were the main reason for me stopping by (the little girl in me never outgrew her animal lover phase) ;) I also bought some honey and mapple syrup. Celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a couple of samplers, because we can't decide on flavors. They are all good. Ice Cream is amazing, and the farmer's wife's posts are hilarious. I feel your pain ma’am. We park out back out of respect.

A wonderful place to go with your family! Animals, balls, sand, playground and more. Lots of outside seating and place for kids to run in a fenced in area. Truly amazing. Soft serve ice cream is really lacking and basically tastes like a Wendy’s frosty. Hard ice cream is delivered and waffle cones are just okay. Still a great place to be!
