San Luis Coffee Company

This was an unexpected but very pleasant surprise in our trip to San Luis, Colorado. The organic food and home-roasted coffee were excellent, the staff were lovely, and we were totally impressed. Highly recommended. Chris & Marla (from Delaware).

A lot of waisted potential. Locals sell art and even bundle of wood here which is amazing even if the locals only get a % of the profits. It should be a mutually benefiting deal except the coffee shop is only open 24 hours a week.... literally 6 hours a day 4 days a week. While charging prices that makes starbucks seem cheap... starbucks charges more so they can gather quality beans and pay their staff quality wages plus even offering PT employees benefits this places doesnt do those things so where is the money going???? Down the drain. They obviously are waisting money on a business thats literally only open 1/7 of the time weekly their staff aren't getting robust group insurance and locals aren't getting good returns on their artwork or firewood and locals and travelers aren't getting

Great coffee, friendly service, and an abundance of local art. Be sure to walk around the side to see the 3D hirs sculpture built into the building. Can’t wait to stop again!

My husband and I stopped here after a short hike up to the shrine. I got the chocolate chip frappucino and he got the vanilla frappe. Both great.

Very charming local cafe full of local art with locally made breads and sandwiches (including a gluten free option!)
