San Jose Mexican Restaurant

We were greeted promptly, chips and salsa served immediately to our table. The chips were fresh and the salsa was delicious. We had the Mexican pizza and Arros Con Pollo. Good portion sizes, fresh and delicious.

San Jose in Sunset Hills was a total surprise—in the best way. 🌮 The vibe is fun, colorful, and full of Frida Kahlo energy, but let’s talk about that skinny spicy margarita. I thought I was being “good.” I was not. That drink hit like a freight train with jalapeños. 😂 Delicious, refreshing, and almost had me napping in the parking lot afterward. The patio was perfect for a sunny afternoon, and the service was lovely. This place knows how to do big drinks, bold flavors, and just enough spice to keep things interesting. And for my fellow thrift queens—Savers is right across the street. So next time I’ll pair my tequila with a vintage score. 💁🏻‍♀️ 💃🏼 Would definitely go back. We waited over 25 minutes before someone came over to see if you would like something to eat or drink. The service is not good. The waitress never came to see if we want any more water or do we need anything? I asked her for napkins several times she never returned until over 20 minutes later She kept messing up the orders and had a slight attitude. I will never recommend this place. The chicken was very dry. The rice is very mushy. It was four friends of mine that went and they all complain how the food was not great. also, my friend ordered a sangria and it was warm when the guy brought it out i’m trying to figure out how do they got good reviews I would not recommend this place. The food was not good. Service is horrible.

This place was good. I got the fajitas and a large house margarita. The margarita wasn’t my favorite in the world. The fajitas were good, I loved the tortillas, reminds me of chevys lol. The bar was cool, I wish we sat there. The atmosphere was busy, we were at a middle table so a lot of people walking around all the time. It was still fun. Our server was very nice, she was busy. A nice spot to grab some Marge and chips n dippy.

The servers are incredibly nice. They are extremely quick with their service and. Food was a 10/10. Everything about it was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere could have been better with the benches and seats screwed in better and a bit more clean but that's it! 10/10 would definitely recommend visiting soon! ❤
