Sam's Southern Eatery

My husband and I LOVE Sam’s! We’ve tried just about everything on the menu. Prices are great, service is superb. Red beans & rice, gumbo, fried green tomatoes, mushroom & Swiss burger and fried pies are definitely some of our favorites huge portions of whatever you order. We’ve also done catering and everyone was very pleased. Their food is made to order and the owner is AMAZING! If you’ve not tried Sam’s Southern Eatery you’re missing out!

I heard a lot about this place at work. My curiosity peaked, so I decided to come in and try it out. One word that I can think of is SUPERB! I like how the atmosphere feels calm and "cajun". My cheeseburger came out quickly and had great taste. I would definitely recommend to others!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my boyfriend, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, with bold flavors and generous portions. I enjoyed a patty melt with all the fixings, paired with a side of crispy fries, while my boyfriend savored a mouthwatering Philly cheesesteak with fries. We also indulged in corn, red beans with rice, and a 6-piece fried shrimp platter, which was surprisingly generous and cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive, thanks to the warm and attentive staff. The gentleman who took our order was exceptionally kind, offering samples of the gumbo and recommending sauces to enhance our meal. I hope changes are made as an outcome. I’m sharing this as a reminder to everyone: always inspect your food and chew carefully. I recently visited this establishment and ordered the mac and cheese. Unfortunately, I found a large, thin piece of metal in my food, and I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t even notice it in my mouth at first. The mac and cheese was very soft and tasty, so I wasn’t chewing much. Sadly, I ended up swallowing the metal, and it became lodged in my throat where I couldn’t reach it.
