Sam's Southern Eatery - Ada

My sister and I really enjoyed our visit here. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was outstanding. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! We loved the food and the portions were unbelievable. We had enough leftover to eat for dinner as well.

This is a good change from most other eateries. Everything was served hot, really liked that ! Fried catfish - excellent Fried shrimp - (large size served) - good Hush puppies - good, with bits of jalapeño Fries - crispy and hot, very good Sauces - seasoned tartar sauce, good and cocktail sauce, tasty Decent service and reasonable prices for the amount served. Restaurant could use a little interior updating, good food is the main focus. Recommended.

Wonderful, tasty Southern foids. Best grilled fish ever. Gizzards served are very good and not greasy at all. High quality, clean fry oil used. Crispy coated fries.

My grilled shrimp was over done and under seasoned for my liking. The best thing was the crab cakes and I'm sure they came out of the freezer premade.

Here for business at hospital, from San Antonio, TX. With co-workers tried this place for a quick lunch and close to hospital. Place was few ppl, servers was very friendly and attentive. Many choices to pick, they have more fish, shrimp and fish and wings, went with a Burger. I was impressed with the taste, was actually pretty good, Fries was fresh. Area was clean, its not a fancy place, just an great place for food (I think). Would try fish/shrimp next time
