Sam's Pizza

I finally tried a cheesesteak after reading all the good reviews. The guy working there was really friendly and I like how it’s an older store. The cheesesteak was average. There wasn’t enough meat to fill the bread and the meat wasn’t anything special. I’ve had better cheesesteaks in the area, but I would consider going back to here because the guy working was very friendly and it was ready in about 5 minutes.

Great place to eat if you're hungry. Even better place to visit if you're looking for what good there is left in this world.

Great food and great people! We ordered cheese steaks and pizza. They were all excellent and fast for a Friday night. I didn’t take the pictures before they were eaten!

Friendly, family owned, traditional style, hole-in-the-wall, South Philly style pizza place. Tastes exactly like the pizza a grew up with. Call-in and take-out is their business.

If you are in Downingtown and you need a good cheesesteak, Sam is your cheesesteak man and possibly a pizza with ham. This was a very good pizza shop cheesesteak. Everything could have been a little better. Everything could have been a little worse. I think there were some grandkids running around. Very good overall experience.
