The food here was nothing short of excellent. The service was very friendly and motivated and we were served without much wait. The prices were also quite competitive when compared to other cafes that I've dined at.

My son recently moved to Ceres. I come from out of town to visit. We are looking for local restaurants to go to enjoy together. We walked in and were seated right away. During our visit 4 different waitresses came around asking if I needed a refill of coffee. I ordered a waffle. It was undercooked, it smelled terrible, and taste worse. I set it aside. A lady came around with the check and asked if there was a problem with the waffle. She took off the $5.99 charge. It blows my mind when they bring the check in the middle of the meal. I had also ordered an Ortega Chile omelette which was warm and lacked seasoning but had plenty of cheese. The country potatoes were more like mashed potatoes in the way that there was no crunch they were just mushy. They lacked seasoning too. I ate half of the

Perfect little diner, great food, home style friendly staff. I go here rarely because I'm always either broke or it's too late in the day but it's always delicious and the staff are people you could hang out with. The Woman, who I think is the owner, has commented on both breast cancer awareness shirts and pride shirts I've worn when I've gone in on multiple occasions, only good things and she seems to be a lovely woman. Absolutely love this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Get there early because it fills up quick. Tons of locals. So I waited 7-8 minutes. If there is room, you can sit at the bar. I was greeted as soon as I got in. Talked with some locals outside and suggested the chicken fried steak and the biscuits and gravy. I was served water right when I was seated. Minutes later order taken and I received my order in 6-7 minutes later. I ordered chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and hash browns. You can also choose country potatoes or bread. For the biscuits and gravy or a pancake or french toast and of course eggs however you want it. The cost was 17.99 but WELL WORTH IT. The portions are huge. The biscuits and gravy it’s own plate the chicken fried steak on it’s own plate and eggs and hash brown on another. The chicken fried steak covered in
