I had the tilapia (it comes with biryani/rice pilaf) and shaah (tea). The food was great! The portions are also huge. I thought I was getting one serving, but the tilapia order came with 2 servings. If you're getting takeout, I don't recommend using an ordering app, because if they run out of something, the app won't show it. Call in or stop in to order instead. Most of the entrees are meat dishes, but they do have some vegetarian food (falafel, cambuulo, malawax, etc.).
Beef suqaar was delicious, one of the best I've had. Sambusas were good - loved the crisp, but little too greasy. Staff was friendly.
Samosa Flame Grill has great food and a lot of variety!! I had the BBQ chicken platter, the goat meat platter, and the gyro wraps. Everything is prepared fresh to order. This is a solid spot for East African cuisine! I will stop in again to try more from the menu. These are healthy portion sizes too!
Best Somali GOAT in Minneapolis.
