Sammy's Pizza & Restaurant - Cloquet

Brick oven pizza was great! Not skimpy with the toppings and plenty of cheese, with a light mild sauce. Salads were very good. Spaghetti sauce was a little bit on the bland side, but the light spice in the meatballs and lots of spice in the sausage made up for it. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back again.

This is the better choice for pizza in Cloquet. Grabbed a sausage & onion, double dough for dinner. Sufficient to feed me 2 nights and both times I ate it, I enjoyed my dinner. Sausage is hand-formed. Sauce is a little robust but not enough to overpower the pie. Cheese melts nicely and gives a good pull when fresh and hot. Onions were diced and largely faded into the background but that's not a positive for me. Better than the other place in town that I tried, by a fairly large margin.

Excellent pizza, fresh subs, & pasta. The pizza crust was great and crispy. They used fresh ingredients and everything tasted home made. Service was fast & friendly. We would definitely recommend this place! The only thing this establishment could improve upon would be a thorough dusting/deep clean, especially the restrooms.

Such a gem of a place. Coming back from birding at Sax-Zim at 1330 and we hadn't eaten anything all day. The wings were really perfect, the broasted chicken special was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and CHEAP AS HECK. Meatball sub was very good and they had a great selection of local beer on tap. Service was wonderful and the place was quiet and fast at lunch. Great all around place.

The sausage pepper onion pizza is to be desired...I can not wait to get back to Cloquet for another one hopefully next year!
