Same Old Place

Been trying as many pizza spots as I can in JP before I move. Stopped in for a quick lunch special. I got the 2 slice and a can special while my wife got a slice as well. It came out to about $13 which is a bit expensive compared to other pizza spots around the area. However, when the slices were served it made more sense. They were in fact, large slices. The crust was thin, struggling to handle the amount of cheese on the slices, but I was ready to tackle that challenge. In the end it was good, not top tier in JP, but the size of the slices and the amount of space there is inside the restaurant in case you want to sit and enjoy whatever meal you order made me enjoy the experience more.

I was in the area and I love checking out Ma and Pops pizza places, and I was hungry for some lunch. I saw they had a deal of 2 Cheese Pizza slices and a soda for $8.50, this sounded like an amazing deal. When I received the slices and drinks, both slices were massive and tasted amazing, such a good deal. The atmosphere was fantastic and the owner was extremely kind. I enjoyed a great lunch and watched some three stooges. Highly recommend.

Apparently this is a Sicilian pizza priced at $10 more than a normal cheese pizza? ($25) It looks like they took a normal pizza, shaped it into a square, cut it into massive square slices and called it a Sicilian pizza. It’s slopped together falling apart making it incredibly difficult to eat. I am not sure how everything else tastes on the menu but by the standards, quality, and price of this pizza I would not recommend going here at all. On par with Dominoes.

It's all about the pizza. I honestly never even looked past the pizza. Fantastic crust. Thin yet crunchy underneath, end crust like a great piece of bakery bread. Toppings are quality and perfect quantity. As an out of towner, this isn't my regular stop, but delivering on its name the place hasn't changed at all in my 25 years of visits. When you love it the first time you'll love it forever.

THE best pizza in the city. Great service. Can’t wait to try their desserts!
