I was very disappointed with my experience here and felt like it was a waste of money. Finding the location was confusing. You pull up to what looks like a school with small signs that “direct” you, but there’s no clear guidance on exactly where to go. When I arrived, I only saw one person in the kitchen. I didn’t wait too long for the food, but unfortunately the food itself did not meet expectations. The mac and cheese was cheesy but completely unseasoned. The fish was soft and not crispy at all. The yams tasted like they came straight from a can. I ordered another platter as well. The mac and cheese on that one tasted slightly more edible. The food was absolutely phenomenal, so delicious that all of our guests were raving about it throughout the night. I had enjoyed Samaiyah’s food before, so when I found out she did catering, I knew I had to have her for my wedding. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional and efficient. She responded promptly to all my emails, provided clear pricing information, and even offered to arrange a tasting (which I didn’t need since I was already familiar with how amazing her food is!). Ordered through DoorDash, and got burnt Salmon. My whole thing is if you wouldn’t eat it why send it to someone, it’s dry as hell and just a waste of time and money. Not giving them another try tired of Black businesses not doing right to our own people

It’s a welcoming environment. The staff is very friendly, and the food is great. The yams have all the right ingredients. The Mac and cheese is amazing, and the cream of spinach is to die for!! Hands down the bed ribs are the best!!
