Sam & Joe's Restaurant

My husband and I sat at the bar for lunch. Again, we got the last two seats! It has about 16 barstools and very cozy. The bartender was very kind and efficient and made me an awesome espresso martini. Michael had the Maine Lunch on tap. His fried haddock sandwich was tasty but the actual piece of fish should have been larger. He got the tail which was flat and small. The French fries and onion rings it came with were awesome. I had the muscles appetizer for my entree which was delicious and plentiful. The broth they came in was excellent. We saw there cheese pizza come out and it looked very good. Supposedly that's what they are known for! We will be back! :)

I had the most fabulous lunch here today! The pleasant bartender and staff and the freshness of the food ! The food temperatures right down to the soda was right on excellent! The Pizza super thin crust and homemade dough cooked perfect incredible blend of cheese and cooked perfectly there are chefs working hard in this kitchen ! Thank you !

Awesome Food, drinks & Service! Eggplant Caprese Stack was freaking awesome! Prime rib was cooked perfect. Pizza was great! Will be back!

Food had no flavor very watery and buttery it looked like a big pile of oil. The last time I had this place was five years ago.And I had this problem.But I tried again where they said they were doing a remodel and that the food would be different.But it was not, it was the same thing, didn't even taste like chicken marsala. Also to get my food in the counter took forever. 🤦‍♀️

We got there as soon as it opened since we were heading out for a long drive back home. Service was wonderful as they had no problem making a dish that was on their dinner menu I saw online. Food was amazing!
