Salty Shores Calabash Style Seafood

Maryland crab cakes were nothing more then deviled crab filling. No lump crab meat at all. Terrible. They were no where close to Maryland style crab cakes.

So fresh tasting, fried flounder was perfect, moist flaky meat! Wilson is so blessed to have such a fine establishment!

The food is excellent! Everyone's food was cooked to perfection and tasted great! The prices are reasonable and our waiter was very attentive. I will put their food up against any seafood restaurant up and down the east coast beaches or inland. Simply fantastic.

Much better than our previous visit. Fried flounder, shrimp, crab cakes, scallops and boom boom shrimp were wellprepared and served hot. Our server wasn't interested. We had to find and flag her down to get our salads, refills on drinks, carry home boxes and the bill. Beware that having oysters or scallops on combination plates add an additional $4 each. Well worth returning!!

Last night at 6pm I called Salty Shores to make sure of their closing time. The lady stated they would close at 8pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 720pm and noticed that the door was locked on the west side of the location. The east entrance was unlocked. People were eating throughout the place so we entered only to find out they were closed due to not many patrons. What a disappointment because we drove nearly an hour only to be ignored and dismissed. The lady stated that they closed and would not serve us. I called the owner who thought I was a friend playing a prank on her. Seriously unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I’m betting this location won’t last a year with attitudes and work ethics like this.
