Found this place by accident and really glad I did. Menu has a nice variety and the food gave me serious Cabo vibes. Got the calamari, Cabo rolls, and their Monday margarita special. Portions were big. The calamari came with a house sauce that was perfect with it and the Cabo rolls were honestly amazing. Everything tasted fresh and legit. Sat at the bar and Devon was great, gave me a little tequila education which I appreciated. Staff was friendly, got seated right away. Definitely coming back and bringing friends next time.
I came across this after searching for Mexican restaurants. I saw they served braised short rib tacos and I knew I had to go. I went in a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Service was timely and the servers were attentive. The atmosphere and vibes were nice. I tried the chai sangria. I didn't know what to expect. It was okay but I don't think I'd order it again. Now, the tacos, the reason for the visit. They were presented in an appetizing way. They were loaded with the beef, onions, lettuce, tomato, avocado. All great ingredients. The only thing I found to be lacking was the short ribs weren't seasoned enough to my liking. I would try again before making a final decision. Overall, the meal was tasty. We also ordered plantains and nachos which were very tasty.
This was my family’s first time here and I’ve been dying to go for years after seeing NC Eat and Play posting about how much she loves it. Our server/bartender Mike made it an amazing experience, he knew we were excited to be here and he was a big part in why we loved it. Great vibes, amazing drinks, incredible food. This is now one of our favorite spots in Raleigh and we will totally be back!
Went for a birthday dinner with a large group, and I was impressed by how quick and efficient the service was. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered the birria tacos, and while they looked promising, the flavor was underwhelming and the portion size was disappointing—especially given the price. Great atmosphere and service, but the food could definitely use some improvement.
Highly recommend this spot & our server Grant was fantastic. I would definitely return for the ceviche & shrimp tacos!! Will also need to try others but those were both 10/10.
