Sal's Family Deli & Grill

I cannot say enough good things about this place. First, the are always so nice. On a busy Sunday morning there is always a smile waiting and a table ready to go. Waitress super nice. Food is always good and there are many many options! Every time we are there the dinner menu specials catch my attention so recently I met some family there for dinner. Great idea! No disappointment, everything was delicious, served hot and what generous portions! Feel bad as I had been driving past this place for so long not even aware it was here. So glad to know they are here now!

Check out the #salchipapa at Sal's Family Deli & Grill @salsdeli15 in #Middlesex, #NJ. Salchipapa is a portmanteau of salchicha and papas, the Spanish words for sausage and potatoes. Drenched with sauces and served on a platter, this is Hispanic street food at its finest! #INeverSausageaHotDog!

Great deli and breakfast spot. They've got your pork roll egg and cheese as well as full breakfasts. Counter order with friendly table service. Definitely check it out!

Waited almost an hour for food that never came, waitress repeatedly told us 2 more minutes then people that came after us were being served. Also to go orders togo were going without issue. Finally we left. The waitress was nice but the kitchen incompetent I guess.

So I ordered the beef empanadas and a streak omelet. I have to say I was a bit skeptical of ordering empanadas to go. But everything held up very well! The staff here was also very helpful and very friendly. This is from the Middlesex location. But the empanadas at both locations seem to be of the same consistency and both very good. I would definitely recommend coming back as their prices are reasonable in relation to the quality and portions of their food! The only bad thing I can say is that I didn't win anything on the scratch off lottery ticket that I bought .... Bummer. But if your interested, they also sell lottery tickets you can buy while your waiting on your food.
