Salem Valley Farms Scoop Shop

Brought my baby here for a treat. So happy they had gluten-free cones! I got him the Non-Dairy Peach ice cream but they also had Peach Gelato available at this time. We paid about $5 for the kid's scoop.

I was told to go by a friend who used to live in the area. Overall experience was meh. The ice cream was good, and standard. Good variety of flavors. Don't rely on the online menu or the menu board outside. Prices and items are not accurate as of July 2025.

Great selection, including some unique flavors. It's a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Everything is home made and the quality is top notch. Well worth treating yourself once in a while.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon there were only 3 other families there but it also was a bit chilly. Parking was convenient. Their outdoor set up looks fun for a warm summer day. Only 2 tables inside one 4 seater and a longer one that accommodates 6-8. Our ice cream server was nice. He offered tasting a few flavors since it was our first time and even had some suggestions based on his top flavors. The missing star comes for price and taste. They were out of whipped cream and hot fudge which I only found out when I was ordering the sundae - that’s out of everyone’s control but when I asked if I could substitute another topping for the whipped cream was told that wasn’t possible. This was my second trip here and I love this place! They have quite a few handmade flavors - about 20? 24? This time, I got a waffle cone with a scoop of peach ice cream. This was after a very hard decision of which one to try. (My fiancé asked me which flavor I wanted and I simply said, "Yes.") The ice cream was almost decadent. It was a rich vanilla base with slices of fresh ripe peaches mixed in. My fiancé also got a scoop of the peach, along with a scoop of Key Lime. He said it was was very good - not too tart and that is hard to find. He also loves the blueberry cheesecake flavor and buys it by the container to keep on hand. This is one of the places I look forward to visiting when I'm in town and I can't wait to be back!
