Salem-Panola Library, DeKalb County Public Library

I love going to my neighborhood library with my kids, and they love it, too. They love picking all type of books and checking it out. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. If you need help with anything, they go above and beyond to accommodate you with all your questions. There are computers for everyone, and the ones in the children's section have ABC Mouse, which my kids love. There are also plenty of parking and security cameras all around so you can feel safe. I would advise everyone to come out and take advantage/enjoy their local library as there is something for all ages and not just kids.

Stopped in to grab a book for my book club. The staff was friendly. A sweet woman gave me a bunch of book recommendations, activities for my kids and the foreign spice of the month they offer ( chimmi churro from Argentina) .

Very help people that truly care about you and your needs

I had a bad experience. I was applying for medical insurance. I did not know how to upload documents to the portal. Librarian ( Caucasian lady, idk her name) told me she didn't either. I don't DRIVE and was therefore stuck without benefits for my health. 2nd time I needed copies of some papers made. Librarian asked for a lease to my house to make COPIES!!!
