If there was a Below Zero stars it would be too generous. They totally butchered my front lawn trees facing the street with a grinder/shredder kind of equipment. A total disregard for the trees health and a very unplrasant sighting for the neighborhood esthetics. A shameful disgrace for Salem county 😔
Hook road in Pennsville is unbelievable. The road has more ruts and pot holes then the back roads of West Virginia. The taxes in Salem county are very high and the Salem county road dept can’t even fix the pot holes on this road ? Where do I send my bill for the repairs on my car? They are fixing the Main Street in Salem city but the most traveled road , hook road,is falling apart and nothing is being done to repair it. What a joke this county is, high taxes and slow service. Elections are coming, respond to these unresponsible elected officials.
Honestly, every other county surrounding Salem county takes great care of their roads when it comes to bad weather. You can tell when you enter Salem county on buck road leading to and coming from 55…ice and snow still on road when all other counties surrounding have clear roads.
Road near South Main St and Bailey is horrific. There is tons of pot holes that just keep getting patched up. The entire road needs to get repaired!
Salem County roads are awful during snow. Poorly prepared
