We recently had a bowl of tonkotsu ramen that completely blew me away at sakuramen From the very first spoonful, the broth was rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful — simmered to perfection with that signature pork bone depth that tonkotsu is known for. It had a silky texture that coated every strand of noodle without feeling overly heavy. The noodles were perfectly cooked — firm with just the right amount of chew — and they held up beautifully in the broth. The chashu pork was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, with just the right balance of savory and slightly sweet. Best ramen in DC. Best in the DMV. Quite possibly in the world. We have been enjoying the food at Sakuramen since they first opened and the quality has always been on point! The Chosun Ramen is absolutely amazing! The Bulgogi buns - fire! The staff couldn’t be friendlier and attentive. The flavors here are super delicious! The chefs and owners really created a wondeful experience.

Others have said it so I’ll double down: best ramen in DC. Ramen comes out quickly and in large portions. Recommend adding an egg to your tonkotsu. I’m always able to wrap mine up for the next day too. Would also recommend the pork bao as an appetizer.

The chicken ramen was good. I think the service could be a bit better (people were walking up to the register to pay) since this was my first time here but otherwise, the food was good.

The best meal I had while visiting in DC - it was really a great experience. The flavours in the “Shoki Bowl” I ordered was so great, I didn’t want to fill up on my food. The chef & owner came to greet and mention the menu items to our table - a great personal touch. I don’t eat ramen often, but I would go back to Sakuramen any day…
