Sakana

Sakana is the best! Very unassuming from the outside, but it is literally some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in Colorado, and the curry rivals some of our favorites from Japan! They always have great specials and the sparkling peach sake drink and plum wine are favorites. The fish is always fresh and my husband always comments on how great the rice is. Def a must try!!

We stopped by and placed an order to go. The personal was extremely welcoming. There was no wait time to be seated and our food was ready in about 10min which was great. It seemed like a relaxed atmosphere.

I've always passed by this place, but I hadn't had the opportunity to try the restaurant until now. It's one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city, and the food and service exceeded my expectations. 🍣🍛🥢

We had such a wonderful experience here. I came with my son, and from the moment we sat down it felt welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely friendly. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully balanced—every bite tasted clean and high-quality. We tried a mix of classic rolls and specialty items, and everything arrived looking gorgeous and tasting even better. What really stood out to me was how much care clearly goes into the food, without any pretension. It was the kind of meal that makes you slow down and enjoy it together. The staff was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere made it easy to have a great conversation and a memorable meal with my son.
